Katherine Webb bombs on Jay Leno’s ‘Celeb All-Stars: Reality Edition’ (Video)

It’s a good thing Katherine Webb is pretty.

Really pretty.

Webb, the girlfriend of Alabama starting quarterback AJ McCarron who has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since cameras highlighted her during the BCS National Championship, appeared on Jay Leno’s “Battle of Celeb All-Stars: Reality Edition” on Friday night.

And it’s the most excruciating 4 minutes you’ll ever watch.

Webb, who is matched up against Alexis Bellino of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson, is not what the kids would call book smart.

A few highlights: She thinks there are four branches of government (though when asked to name them she named the three correctly). She claimed Thomas Edison was on the $20 bill and she had no idea who “Tricky Dick” was.

This pretty much summed up Webb’s mock game show appearance:

Webb, an Auburn grad, isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for an Auburn education, though she did manage to get a couple half answers. Unfortunately, there was no partial credit.

Hopefully, McCarron is paying attention in class because when the spotlight finally fades, someone needs to carry this relationship intellectually.
