Jim Harbaugh responds to OSU AD's 'jumpstarting' comment

The Jim Harbaugh comeback has landed.

The Michigan coach responded – in a tweet, because of course – Tuesday night to Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith's comments about Michigan's spring break practices in Florida. When asked about possibly having practices in Florida, Smith quoted former NBA player Allen Iverson and said he'd probably try to do what Harbaugh did if he was "jumpstarting" his program.

Of course, the tattoo fiasco Harbaugh references is Ohio State's 2010 season, which has had all 12 wins wiped from the record book because of NCAA violations. Buckeye players including quarterback Terrelle Pryor, were found to have exchanged memorabilia for tattoos. Then-OSU coach Jim Tressel knew about the arrangement but didn't pass it on. Tressel resigned in 2011 and was given a show cause penalty by the NCAA.

After Harbaugh's tweet, former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott weighed in with a reference to Ohio State's 42-13 win over the Wolverines in November. Smith said Tuesday afternoon that Ohio State was "in a different place" than Michigan. This rivalry could get even more fun.
