Former Washington WR Damore'ea Stringfellow tweets he's heading to Ole Miss

Damore'ea Stringfellow looks to be an Ole Miss Rebel.

The former Washington WR tweeted Thursday night that he was heading to Oxford, Miss. and also changed his Twitter background to a picture of the Ole Miss flag.

Stringfellow left Washington after the 2013 season when he was charged with three misdemeanors for post-Super Bowl altercations with fans. After a plea deal, he was fined, ordered to attend anger management counseling and sentenced to five days on a work crew. Washington QB Cyler Miles was also allegedly involved in the incident, but he was never charged.

Miles was reinstated in May while Stringfellow chose to transfer.

Earlier in June, Stringfellow's college choice was not Ole Miss. Stringfellow had given all indications he was heading to Nebraska, saying that, per HuskerOnline.com, he "knew Nebraska was where he wanted to go from the jump."

He told the Omaha World-Herald in a text Thursday evening that his visit to Ole Miss last week was convincing.

"My visit and just getting to know the coaches and talking to the players about what type of program it was," he said.

Stringfellow, a freshman in 2013, was a four-star recruit in the class of 2013 according to Rivals and the No. 10 WR in the country. He had 20 catches for 259 yards and a touchdown in 2013. He will have to sit out 2014 and have three years of eligibility remaining.
