Floyd Mayweather apparently won $1 million when Oregon beat Arizona State

Floyd Mayweather is known for many things, such as being a championship boxer, but he also gets a lot of attention for his affinity for making incredibly large bets.

And it looks like he made $1 million on a college football game last month.

Mayweather posted a picture of his betting ticket from the M Resort's sportsbook, run by Cantor Gaming, that shows he bet $1.1 million on Oregon to cover a 7.5-point spread against Arizona State. Oregon covered easily and he won $1 million (assuming the ticket is legitimate and not altered in any way).

Mayweather posted the ticket on Twitter last night, causing most people to assume that he was betting $1.1 million on Oregon against USC today. But the ticket clearly shows that he made the bet on Oct. 17 for an event on Oct. 18 - the same day Oregon played at Arizona State and was favored by a little more than a touchdown:

Mayweather has a reputation of only posting/bragging about (insanely large) bets he has already won, and this seems to be another of his tricks. Still, assuming it's legit, pretty nice score on the Ducks for Pretty Boy Floyd.

Wonder if he'll tell us today who he likes in the Oregon-USC game, and if he'll do it before kickoff this time.
