Even LeBron James is impressed by Ole Miss’ recruiting class

Ole Miss is on the verge of signing the best class in program history thanks to signatures by the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit Robert Nkemdiche and the No. 1 receiving recruit Laquan Treadwell among others.

The unbelievable and improbable effort has made Ole Miss the talk of national signing day and not just among college football pundits, but also among professional fans.

Miami Heat basketball player LeBron James tweeted out his affinity for what Ole Miss has been able to do during national signing day and he approves.

James is a big Ohio State fan and had an opportunity to play there had he not skipped college to play in the NBA. And while Ohio State currently has the nation’s No. 1 class according to Rivals.com, Ole Miss has moved from No. 11 to No. 7 in the overall rankings. And the Rebels have more five-star recruits than the Buckeyes.

You know you’re doing something right when you pique the interest of the world’s greatest professional basketball player.
