Elephants dressed in houndstooth help celebrate Alabama’s national title (PHOTO)

What’s the biggest way Alabama could celebrate its second consecutive national championship?

How about with live elephants dressed in houndstooth (thanks to SEC digital media director Eric SanInocencio for the photo).

The Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus is in Birmingham this week and it's brought several Asian elephants ready to show their Crimson Tide spirit.

The elephants left the train yard in Birmingham and walked through the streets Wednesday morning en route to the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame to celebrate the Crimson Tide’s national championship.

The lead elephant was sporting an oversized houndstooth hat and an Alabama flag. He also placed a foot on a giant football to the delight of the crowd.

This is a pretty big way to celebrate a second national title. Wonder what we’ll get for a third title?
