The Doc Five: Coaches who would make good WWE wrestlers – No. 2, Les Miles

This offseason we will count down various topics from Monday through Friday, bringing you the top five of the important and definitely some not so important issues in college football. It's the Doc Five, every week until we will thankfully have actual games to discuss.

TOP FIVE COACHES WHO WOULD MAKE GOOD WWE WRESTLERS

NO. 2: LES MILES, LSU

Now entering the ring, from Parts Unknown, THE MAD HATTER!

Heck, Miles' persona already seems like it's from the WWE, so this isn't a tough transition.

He's the unpredictable coach who's as likely to call a fake punt as he is to chow on some grass. Just imagine this presser, but with Mean Gene Okerlund on the mic:

Miles is the most entertaining character we've got in college football. He makes this list no problem.

Heel or face?
C'mon, how could you root against Miles? Does he really bring out any ill feelings from anyone? Maybe LSU fans at times when he pulls some crazy shenanigan out of his hat, but there's no way he's making a heel turn. Definite good guy in the WWE.

Natural wrestling rival
Nick Saban. They're rivals in football, and wouldn't this be the right match? Saban yelling at the crowd to shut up as he plays the bad guy role to a T. Probably having some way of outsmarting Miles to turn the match around. And not enjoying any kind of Gatorade bath he'd get after a win. An easy one.

Best old school wrestler comparison

With the loveable unusual demeanor and the many personalities, there's no doubt Miles' WWE doppelganger is Mick Foley.

Foley was the guy that could take a massive amount of abuse in the most sadistic way imaginable, and then come back and soak in the cheers. He would do the most outrageous stunts in the sport, and even though Miles calling fake punts at any part of the field is probably a little safer from a health perspective, the basic premise is roughly the same. Foley also had a Mankind character that was built around being some deranged lunatic, and Miles enjoys playing that up as well.

Actually, can we get Miles and Foley together for some tag-team action?

Finishing move
We're not sure exactly what it is, but it snuck up on everybody and left everyone snickering while they scratched their heads wondering what he was thinking as he came up with it.
