DB Jalen Collins reportedly failed 'multiple' drug tests at LSU

Could Jalen Collins' draft position be affected by failed drug tests?

According to NFL.com's Albert Breer, the former LSU defensive back failed "multiple" drug tests while a member of the Tigers.

It's not hard to immediately see that an LSU defensive back has failed drug tests and wonder about Tyrann Mathieu. However, "multiple" could simply be two instead of the at least ten that Mathieu reportedly once said he failed while in college.

Collins was a major contributor to LSU's secondary in 2014. He played in all of the Tigers' 13 games and had 38 tackles and an interception. He's considered to be a likely early round pick in the NFL draft, which begins Thursday.

He also recently had surgery to repair an incomplete Jones fracture of his fifth metatarsal in his right foot. He ran a sub-4.5 40-yard dash at the NFL combine before the injury was discovered.
