Clemson WR Mike Williams suffers neck injury, moving extremities

Clemson receiver Mike Williams was taken to the hospital Saturday after he suffered neck injury when he hit the goal post while diving for a touchdown catch.

Clemson officials said Williams was moving his extremities:

Clemson receiver Mike Williams suffered a neck injury as he hit a padded goalpost whole scoring a touchdown in the first quarter vs. Wofford today. He was moving extremities and was taken to Oconee Hospital in Seneca. We will have an update after the game.

 

Williams had 57 catches for a team-high 1,030 yards and six touchdowns in 2014, and named second-team All-ACC by the media.
