Central Florida latest to change its uniforms in the offseason

The offseason is a time for reflection, and that goes for a team judging its uniforms too.

If you're going to make a change and have a major shoe company interested in the marketing opportunity that comes along with it, now is as good of a time as any.

While Central Florida's changes aren't as drastic as Extreme Makeover: Oregon State Edition, the new uniforms by Nike look pretty nice.

They'll have the three combinations with the black, gold and white. The stripe on the pants and around the arm are a different touch.

It's nothing that will cause the UCF fans to go into a state of shock, but the relatively minor changes look good. Here's what UCF looked like in last year's bowl game, for some reference:
