Buffalo uses a hook-and-lateral for a 50-yard touchdown

Buffalo lost 24-17 to Connecticut on Saturday, but it did use one of the day's best trick plays in an effort to get back into the game.

Late in the third quarter, Bulls' quarterback Alex Zordich threw a short pass to receiver Alex Neutz, who flipped the ball backward to running back Brandon Murie to complete a hook-and-lateral. Murie fought off several tacklers and raced up the sideline for a 50-yard score to cut UConn's lead 24-14 heading into the fourth quarter.

This was Murie's first collegiate touchdown and definitely one he can someday tell his grandkids about.
