Boise State QB Ryan Finley pleads guilty to two misdemeanors

Boise State quarterback Ryan Finley pleaded guilty to misdemeanor underage possession of alcohol and resisting or obstructing officers on Monday.

The charges stemmed from an arrest in April.

Finley was given three months probation and was required to pay $790 in fines. He also was assessed 40 hours of community service, which he already completed.

Finley, a 20-year-old redshirt sophomore, was the Broncos’ starting quarterback this year, but suffered broken bone in his ankle against Idaho State on Sept. 18 and will miss about eight weeks.
