During Arizona’s spring game a few fans got the opportunity to set foot on the field at Arizona Stadium and even got the chance to take home some cash.

One fan got the chance to win $500 if he managed to make a 50-yard field goal. Despite a seriously impressive effort, he came up just short. Another fan got the chance at $250 if he threw the ball further than the Wildcats quarterbacks. That didn’t go too well.

The fan had a decent toss of about 40 yards, but quarterback Jesse Scroggins, a USC transfer who is competing for the starting job, launched a pass into the end zone – a 75-yard toss.

Other fans had the opportunity to help coach Rich Rodriguez pick a few goal line plays that were drawn up on a poster board. Most were unsuccessful, but a few managed to get the Wildcats into the end zone.
