Apple CEO Tim Cook trolls Alabama during Auburn’s Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech (Video)

Today’s Video of the Day comes from one of the nation’s most prominent Auburn grads, Tim Cook.

Cook is the CEO of Apple and was recently awarded a lifetime achievement at Auburn University. During his acceptance speech, he took a moment of his speech to troll Alabama fans.

About a minute into the speech, Cook notes he’s going to keep his remarks brief, but says he might ask for an extra second at the end “because we all know how much of a difference that can make.”

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, the comment is in reference to Alabama getting one extra second put back on the clock at the end of the annual Iron Bowl rivalry game against Auburn. The Tide attempted a long field goal that fell short and into the waiting hands of Chris Davis, who ran it back 109 yards for the game-winning score.

Cook, who has been Apple’s CEO since Steve Jobs stepped down in 2011, grew up in Mobile, Ala., and graduated from Auburn with a degree in industrial engineering in 1982.

Troll Tide, Mr. Cook. Troll Tide.
