Alabama’s governor has an opinion too: ‘I would actually have run the ball for four straight times’

Everyone in Alabama seems to know what coach Nick Saban should have done to avoid a shocking upset loss to Texas A&M, including Alabama's governor.

Via The Paul Finebaum Radio Network's website, Gov. Robert Bentley was asked what he would have done late in the game when Alabama was inside the 10-yard line, looking to take the lead. On four plays inside the 10, Alabama handed the ball off to running back Eddie Lacy only once, which has drawn some second guessing. Quarterback A.J. McCarron threw an interception on fourth down.

"I would actually have run the ball for four straight times," he said.

The short audio clip that is linked on Finebaum's site sounds like it was a lighthearted moment and Bentley's answer drew some laughs, but it is a reminder: Saban doesn't have an easy job in football-crazy Alabama. One loss and everyone, including the governor of the state, turns into an armchair quarterback.

At least Bentley was more calm than this Alabama fan who was playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" during that fateful series that ended in an interception. He has an utter meltdown that reaches epic proportions at about 1:50 (the video was first posted by Deadspin and includes a lot of swearing, if you can handle that) ... he wanted Saban to run the ball too, governor:
