Ashlee Arnau sinks another front flip shot while giving a lesson to a Harlem Globetrotter

In addition to dozens of interview requests and more than 1 million views on YouTube, William Carey University cheerleader Ashlee Arnau received another sign of how much people appreciated her amazing front flip half-court shot.

A member of basketball's ultimate trick shot masters asked Arnau to teach him how to make her signature shot.

Firefly Fisher of the Harlem Globetrotters was in Hattiesburg Friday to promote a future game, so he had Arnau meet in the gym at the University of Southern Mississippi to work on the shot with him. Arnau proved her shot was no fluke, sinking it a second time with Fisher watching and cameras rolling.

Afterward, Fisher attempted to duplicate the shot with modest success. He landed a cartwheel and nailed the half-court shot, no easy feat but also not all in one motion like the soccer-style front flip throw that Arnau does.

It's no surprise Fisher couldn't recreate the shot in his first few attempts because Arnau is uniquely qualified to attempt it.

A cheerleader and forward on the William Carey women's soccer team, Arnau has both a knack for tumbling and the soccer background necessary to attempt a flip throw-in. Even so, she had been attempting her signature shot at every William Carey home basketball game since Christmas this season yet made it for the first time during the final home game of the season Thursday night.

Arnau will have a third chance to make her shot Wednesday when she appears at halftime of the Globetrotters game. The way things are going for her this week, don't bet against her.
