Mad Dash: Bubba Watson pulls off trick shot, amateur does not

Once upon a time, golf trick shots weren't something anyone really noticed, but then Tiger Woods came along with his famous Nike commercial. What has followed is a decade of great shots thanks to social media and YouTube and camera phones. Bubba Watson has taken the art of the trick shot to another level, directly submitting his latest offering from a golf course in China to SportsCenter via Twitter. Follow all of that? The point is, professional golfers can give us all of their best shots in a flash. On the flipside, any of us can submit a great trick shot through various means on the internet and become viral stars overnight. The bad news is you can become famous for all the wrong reasons, too. One amateur felt that pain when he attempted a drop shot similar to the one Watson pulled off, except in his version, he hit the ball with the shaft of the driver and snapped it in half. Another lesson of trick shot fame: Sometimes the epic failures are just as amazing as the unbelievable successes.

We had heard rumors that former Denver Nuggets head coach Brian Shaw had rapped a scouting report to his team during the NBA regular season. Well, it turns out it really happened and there's video evidence to prove it, thanks to Ty Lawson. Shaw has since been fired, and while we don't think the rap played a factor, we also can't imagine Gregg Popovich or Doc Rivers doing the same thing. But then, maybe those two are just savvy enough to make sure no cameras are rolling when it happens.

Tom Brady has found an uptick in popularity thanks to his Facebook posts over the last year or so. His latest winner was a post wishing the Celtics luck in the playoffs, complete with a throwback photo of him in a Celtics uniform and an Under Armour sleeve. It's pretty awesome.
