Steve Kerr and Marv Albert love that animated Chris Bosh video (probably). (Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports)

We loved it when Rasheed Wallace dusted off his time-honored catchphrase against the New Orleans Hornets a couple of weeks back. We thought it a little absurd — but perhaps appropriately so; it's Sheed, after all — when the New York Knicks big man was ejected for yelling it during a recent Sunday matinee against the Phoenix Suns, but we kind of loved that, too.

We were sort of surprised and pleased as punch to see a discussion of the phrase's backstory and newfound cachet (featuring a few words from our own Kelly Dwyer) in The New York Times, especially considering it was published exactly five years after KD, Jamie Mottram and the founding Yahoo! Sports Blogs crew first hung a shingle.

But when Marv Albert talks about you? Now that's the best birthday present of all:

We see you, Marvelous, and we love you, too. If you ever want to write a guest post, just give us a shout. A BDL byline would give you and your partner something else in common after all these years.

Many thanks to Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge and Sports Illustrated's The Point Forward for the video.
