A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

Chris Herrington with a sharp and nuanced look at what Marc Gasol's indefinite absence with a mid-foot fracture means for the Memphis Grizzlies, now and in the future, and who bears what level of responsibility for the 7-footer injuring his wheel while playing through pain and having been listed as questionable for Tuesday's contest.

PF: Blog-a-Bull. On a similar note, how much should Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler's strained left knee be attributed to "an outright deficiency of the organization/coaching and not just a matter of circumstances?"

SF: TrueHoop. A tremendous read from Pablo Torre on the process of rebuilding Stephen Curry's ankles, which contributed in ways big and small to Steph going from very good but unreliable to the most consistently excellent player in the NBA.

SG: MinnPost. The great Britt Robson checks in on the development of Andrew Wiggins who's still the Minnesota Timberwolves' most important player.

PG: Dancing with Noah. Turning back the clock to the winter of 1990, when missing out on a starting spot in the All-Star Game brought a 61-point game out of Karl Malone and taught us that, monstrous though he may have seemed on the court, the Mailman was just a man.

6th: ESPN.com. A good look by Tim MacMahon at the relationship between Chandler Parsons and Rick Carlisle, who hold in their hands the keys to the Dallas Mavericks' future.

7th: VICE Sports. In light of a lawsuit involving alleged copyright infringement in the wildly popular "NBA 2K" series of video games, Aaron Gordon tries to answer a seemingly simple but surprisingly complicated question: Who owns tattoos?

8th: SB Nation. Dynamite Toronto Raptors beat man Eric Koreen goes deep on DeMar DeRozan, whose relentless work ethic has turned him into a two-time All-Star and could turn him into the best Raptor ever.

9th: InPredictable. Mike Beuoy digs into the data and discovers that, even in an age of expanded instant replay, NBA games are getting shorter.

10th: ESPN.com. Michael Wright goes in-depth on Jonathon Simmons' journey from Houston's Fifth Ward to one of this season's surprise revelations as a dynamic wing contributor for the San Antonio Spurs' lights-out second unit.
