If you buy Mark Jackson's wife's new single, he'll call you on the phone to thank you
Former Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson has good reason to be proud of his wife, singer Desiree Coleman Jackson. As you can see above, she’s sung the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Warrior games in the past, and last week she released a single entitled “Strip.”
Mr. Jackson, in the days leading up to his cushy gig tagline-ing his way through ABC/ESPN games, is attempting to promote his wife’s single in a rather novel way in the weeks before the NBA season starts. Via Kevin Draper and CBSSports.com, check out these tweets from earlier this week:
Tweet me a pic of my wife Desiree Coleman Jackson’s new single “STRIP” purchased with ur phone #. I will personally call and Thank U!

So, in summation, if you buy Desiree Coleman Jackson’s single and tweet your number at Mark Jackson, he’ll give you a call and potentially a faith-based pep talk. That’s not desperate, that’s not sad, that’s just a cool thing to do that is making his many Twitter followers happy, while helping advertise something he and his wife are very proud of. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
