Here's Tony Parker evading a tiger on French game show 'Fort Boyard'
Pretty much every high-level professional sports contract has clauses regarding which activities athletes cannot engage in off the field of play. The idea makes sense — if franchises are going to pay guys millions of dollars, then they want some legal protection against an injury that did not occur on company time. You never know if someone might do something crazy during the offseason.

For instance, we're going to bet that the contract between the San Antonio Spurs and longtime point guard Tony Parker does not allow him to drive a rusted-over, potentially water-powered car in order to evade a tiger and solve a complicated alphabet-based puzzle game. Yet that's exactly what Parker will do on an upcoming French game show appearance. And he will have some help from fellow basketball-playing countrymen Boris Diaw, Nicolas Batum, and Ronny Turiaf. The series is called "Fort Boyard," and it's one of the most popular game-shows franchises in the world. Contestants venture to the titular fort (at one point a real defensive fortification meant to protect Rochefort) and undertake various tasks and games of strength and skill. Parker appeared on the show in 2009 alongside then-wife Eva Longoria, so he knew what he was getting into.
I'm not sure if that information explains whatever's happening here, but it's the best we can do.
With both Parker and Diaw taking part in the game, it's likely that the Spurs are not overly concerned with any endangerment of these players. That said, there probably would've been a problem if this crank-pushing competition had caused Parker to pull a muscle:
Then again, a visit to "Fort Boyard" can't be any more dangerous than a Drake-Chris Brown nightclub brawl.
