The 10-man rotation, starring Larry Johnson’s four-point play

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: TrueHoop. Ethan Sherwood Strauss discusses Larry Johnson’s famous four-point play from the 1999 Eastern Conference finals, and how it briefly strengthened the bond between him and his father. The less I write about this, the better, please go read it.
PF: OutSports. Jason Collins is still unsigned as teams head into training camp next week. I might be naïve in dismissing this as a league-wise move that is free from homophobia, but that’s just my personal take. Frankly, as much as I respect Collins as a player and person, I was surprised when the Celtics brought him in (with Dwight Howard in the Western Conference) last fall.
SF: Truth About It. All you need to know about Emeka Okafor’s 2013-14 prospects as he recovers from a herniated disc. Kyle Weidie did a fantastic job with this.
SG: Deadspin. James Dolan, whom you may recall as a terrible human, took his first question from a Knicks beat reporter in six years.
PG: National Post. Eric Koreen with a typically-great column about the Indiana Pacers’ prospects as they look toward a future with Paul George and Roy Hibbert on board.

6th: SB Nation. Tom Ziller discusses the jump that Paul George will be required to make next season, while throwing some love Shaquille O’Neal’s way.
7th: Bleacher Report. The Orlando Magic was ruddy awful at defending wings last season. Ian Levy wonders if rookie Victor Oladipo can help change the team’s fortunes in that area.
8th: Orlando Pinstriped Post. Evan Dunlap takes issue with some of the Magic’s rankings in the new NBA 2K14 video game.
9th: Grizzly Bear Blues. He’s not exactly in town to replace either Rudy Gay or Zach Randolph (who is a free agent after 2014-15), but Ed Davis Jr. truly needs to come through with a much improved campaign in 2013-14. This is a very good read.
10th: Sportsnet. Michael Grange comes through with a well-researched and well-intentioned chiding for the Toronto Raptors franchise. The All-Star Game is coming, Raps. Get your act together.
