The 10-man rotation, starring David Stern
A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: CBS Sports. Ken Berger speaks with Kobe Bryant and a former David Stern foe of sorts in David Falk to assess the breadth of Stern’s influence and the task at hand for Adam Silver.
PF: ESPN. In a typically-polarizing piece, Jason Whitlock essentially calls David Stern’s 30-year run “underachieving.” Hard to disagree with many of his points, and the selling of Stern’s narrative.
SF: Sports Illustrated. Ian Thomsen wonders if Adam Silver will act as a true visionary, instead of a placeholder. It’s also important to note that just because a proposal – like the re-done NBA draft study – is severe; it doesn’t mean that it’s any good.
SG: Rogers SportsNet. Michael Grange wants to remind you about how David Stern – by shoving Stu Jackson down the franchise’s throat – failed Vancouver.
PG: ESPN. Marc Stein is having a hard time pondering an NBA without David Stern, and I’m right there with him. Adam Silver is currently the NBA commissioner … but it doesn’t really feel that way, does it?
6th: Associated Press. Brian Mahoney with a great, exhaustive look at Stern’s influence, spread out over 30 years.

8th: Bleacher Report. Howard Beck takes on the duality of Stern’s multi-dimensional influence, rightfully going over the former commissioner’s hypocritical approach in handling various franchise moving situations.
9th: ESPN. Jackie MacMullan discusses Stern’s dogged, pragmatic and progressive approach when Magic Johnson was diagnosed with HIV in 1991.
10th: Grantland. Charles Pierce with a long and good read on Stern’s legacy that also manages to sneak in a Michael Finnigan reference.
