Video: 14 car pileup takes out a load of contenders in Daytona Nationwide race

Ah, "The Big One." Racing's version of natural selection.

Darwin struck during Friday night's Nationwide race at Daytona, and the strong car that survived? None other than Kurt Busch.

Busch, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Cole Whitt and others were involved in the crash that started when James Buescher and Kyle Busch caught Mike Wallace and Harvick in the midst of a tandem-draft swap. Wallace and Buescher made contact, and the carnage commenced from there.

Kurt Busch was on the inside and sustained some damage when Harvick bounced off of him. However, his crew was able to repair the car enough to allow Busch to drive back through the field, where he passed Joey Logano on the final lap for the win.
