The Internet gives Bartolo Colon the birthday tribute he deserves

When a regular Internet person has a birthday, he or she get hundreds of Facebook wall posts with some version of "Happy Birthday." But when baseball folk hero Bartolo Colon has a birthday, the Internet births the fantastic musical tribute you see above. (Because the Internet is a magical place. Never forget that).

Colon turned 43 on Tuesday, giving us all a reason to swing so hard our helmets fall off our head. Or, just sing-along with this catchy little ditty from YouTuber Jason Juran. The song and video tells Colon's whole story — coming from the Dominican Republic, playing 19 seasons (and counting!) in MLB and eventually becoming a full-blown Internet sensation when he joined the New York Mets.

If Mets fans at Citi Field aren't doing sing-alongs to "Bartolo" by his next home start, we're going to be sorely disappointed.
