Sweep delivers special treat to Mets clubhouse

To the victors go the spoils! After completing a three-game opening series sweep of the Braves on Sunday, the New York Mets were taken straight back to the days of Little League and treated to a round of hamburgers in the postgame clubhouse.

And not just any burgers, either. As Mets clubhouse cook Theresa Corderi tweeted, the undefeated Mets jumped the line at Citi Field's wildly popular Shake Shack outlet by earning a special postgame delivery.

"No wait for guys who swept ATL," Corderi noted.

I have no idea how often this happens, but withholding Shake Shack for wins seems like a great way to guarantee the Mets a winning record at Citi Field this season. Between the nutritional magic and the park's drawn-in fences, that's a recipe for success.

It's also an awful reminder that whatever you brownbagged for lunch today is pretty crummy, but if I had to put down my PB&J and drool over that tray of Shake Shack, so do you.
