Supermodel Chrissy Teigen before Dodgers first pitch: 'I'm pretty drunk'

Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday's game between the Angels and Dodgers and it was certainly more entertaining than your usual toss.

For starters, Teigen started the day off by tweeting that her dad was making birthday margaritas "like only dad can!!" That was followed by two tweets an hour later that read "Crap I'm pretty drunk" and "My mom is bombed." Then it was time for first pitch "PRACTICE" and donning a customized Dodgers jersey that read "Nugz 40" on the back (because Teigen's favorite drunk food is 40 chicken nuggets, apparently).

Then it was time for the moment of truth, a pitch that Teigen practiced for in Manhattan last week and one that ultimately showed that a margarita or two before a nervous moment never hurt anyone.

Let's break down the sequence GIF-style, shall we?

First Teigen blew a kiss to the Dodger scoreboard camera, showing some tequila face at the end.

Then she confidently jogged out to the mound and got ready ...

... And then the pitch! Perhaps not quite a strike, but over the plate and far from 50 Cent territory.

That was enough for Teigen to stage a big celebration that Drew Butera of the Dodgers awkwardly didn't want THAT much part of.

(Maybe he was worried John Legend or his signficant other was watching?)

Not to worry: One of Teigen's friends was just as thrilled with the result as she was, though ...

So, what did we learn here? Well, margaritas seems like a performance-enhancing drink if you're a world-famous supermodel.

Also, it's a lot more fun to watch Chrissy Teigen throw out a first pitch than the chairman of your local auto dealership group. Take note, other big league clubs.

Update: Here's a tweet from Teigen on Wednesday afternoon. Looks like there was a price to pay for all that fun at the old ballpark.
