Brazilian soccer superstar Neymar Jr. visited the New York Mets on Tuesday and proved that he won't be making a Michael Jordan-esque jump to baseball anytime soon.

If you don't follow international soccer and don't know who Neymar is, let's put it this way — he's known by just one name, a sure sign of superstardom. He's also the star of FC Barcelona and the Brazilian national team, so you'll hear a lot about him come Olympic time.

On Tuesday, though, he took a turn in the Mets' batting cage and certainly isn't winning a gold medal for that:

Via the Wall Street Journal's Andrew Beaton, Neymar said through a translator that hitting a baseball was "very difficult for me." And it shows. Neymar did much better when he showed off his soccer skills by juggling a baseball.

That's more like it.
