‘Kid’: Montreal artist honors Gary Carter with song

If you've followed Big League Stew for any amount of time, you know that Annakin Slayd's "Nos Amours in My Heart" ranks as one of the best fan tributes we've ever seen on YouTube. Laden with loads of nostalgic highlights and clips, the song focuses on the departed Montreal Expos and their special relationship with their small core of diehard fans.

Gary Carter, of course, played a big part in "Nos Amours" and so it's not surprising to learn that Annakin Slayd has released a new song after the Hall of Fame catcher's death on Thursday. The personal connection that the artist made with Carter is one a lot of you will identify with and the hand-picked highlights are the single best argument for MLB backing off their strict policing on YouTube.
