Josh Reddick: I’m better looking than Brad Pitt

Josh Reddick — the Oakland Athletics outfielder who carries around his own pro wrestling championship belt and increasingly looks like a "Duck Dynasty" character — is certainly one of baseball's most interesting players these days.

There's the scraggly beard, his sense of humor and, of course, his stellar performance on the field. Don't let the fact that he won a Gold Glove last season get lost in those whiskers.

Guesting on MLB Network's "Intentional Talk" on Wednesday, Reddick gave us the boldest preseason proclamation of any player this spring. He said he's better looking than Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt.

Hosts Kevin Millar and Chris Rose were asking Reddick to compare his beard to other famous beards and brought up Pitt.

Reddick didn't just compare beards, rather the entire package.

As for who's better looking, Pitt or Reddick? We suggest that Hiroyuki Nakajima, the A's new shortstop from Japan, be the judge. He's the one, after all, who thinks Billy Beane is so sexy.

As far as we know, though, Reddick hasn't managed trysts with either Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston yet. So Brad Pitt can obviously call "scoreboard" there.
