Hands full of concession items, Blue Jays fan creatively uses legs to secure foul ball (Video)

We're always amazed by baseball fans who think creatively and act quickly in their attempts to secure a treasured home run or foul ball. However, I think we've found the one fan whose efforts not only take the cake, but the soda, popcorn, and the nachos as well.

Our fan was in the Rogers Centre on Friday night. He was on his way back to his seat in the first inning of the Blue Jays 1-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians, and his hands were completely full of concession stand items. That's when Cleveland's Jason Kipnis sliced a foul ball towards his section, and he proceeded to wow (or confuse) everybody in attendance with his instincts, quickness, timing, balance, and, yes, just a little bit of good fortune, as he secured the baseball sans hands.

That's right, our fan caught that baseball between his legs, secured it, didn't fall down, didn't lose a drop of his soda, and even held on to his food item to boot. There was so much potential for disaster during that short moment in time, yet he accomplished the ultimate goal as a baseball fan without having to make a second trip to the concession stand.

Very impressive.

The only thing he didn't do was walk back to his seat with the baseball wedged there, but thanks to his new best friend at the yard, he didn't have to worry about that. And no, he didn't catch the ball on the fly. I realize that will take a little bit of luster off his accomplishment for a couple people, but he still caught the baseball between his legs and lived to tell about it.

That's a job well done and a well earned souvenir.
