Evening shade: It’s Colt .45s time!

Some weekday evenings, the Stew looks at the happenings that will be worth monitoring that night. Feel free to discuss the night's action in the comments below.

Astros throw it back to 1962: After an offseason of a sartorial controversy, the 'Stros will finally break out their Colt .45s throwbacks — complete with pistol! — for Tuesday night's game against Atlanta. And while we thought these 50th anniversary unis might be the lone reason for excitement at Minute Maid Park, the 3-1 Astros can create some more if they keep the 0-4 Braves out of the season win column. Tommy Hanson gets the start for Atlanta while Kyle "Don't Call Me Scott" Weiland goes for Houston.

David Wright's pinky watch: The Mets' 4-0 start was hit with some bad news on Tuesday when David Wright was scratched from Tuesday night's lineup with a "jammed pinky." He'll have an X-ray performed while his team prepares to play Washington. The last time the Mets started a season 5-0 was 1985.

Michael Morse out indefinitely: The Nats are already dealing with some bad injury news of their own as it's been announced that the big outfielder is out indefinitely.

Daniel Bard vs. Kyle Drabek: This actually might be the most intriguing pitching matchup of the night as both Boston and Toronto are looking for the type of rotation depth that will take them far in the AL East. Will either (or both) be up to the challenge?

Canceled in Cleveland: On the off chance you were going to search for the White Sox-Indians game on Extra Innings, don't bother. It's been postponed.

Make sure you're ready for the season ahead ...
