At this year's MLB All-Star game, you can get pizza delivered to your seat

The MLB All-Star game is full of wonder. You get to see things like Clayton Kershaw and Max Scherzer playing for the same team. You can imagine a world where Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera are in the same lineup. And in another mind-blowing new development, you, the fan, can have pizza delivered right to your seat after a few pecks at your smartphone.

Yes, this is true. The Cincinnati Reds, their concession company Delaware North and MLB Advanced Media have partnered to bring pizza delivery to the baseball-watching masses at Great American Ballpark, home of next month's All-Star game.

Delaware North reps confirm to The Stew that the delivery service is being soft launched this week, so that it's ready for the All-Star festivities in mid-July. Fans use their MLB.com Ballpark app to order. Like so:

Stadium food delivery isn't brand brand new. That was one of the selling points of the San Francisco 49ers' new Levi's Stadium that opened last year. In MLB, some stadiums offer food delivery to certain sections, but this implementation at Great American Ballpark marks the first time that food delivery will be available to the entire stadium.

Now if the Reds could just figure out a way to have Billy Hamilton deliver pizzas, they'd really be in business.
