Astros GM Jeff Luhnow returns from South America dressed like Venezuelan Evel Knievel

Obviously trying to recover for his head-scratching ranking in The Stew's Sexiest GMs list, Houston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow returned from Venezuela recently with more than scouting reports, photos of Jose Altuve taking batting practice and memories. Yes, he apparently was presented with the official windbreaker of the Venezuela national olympic team. So enamored with the outfit, Luhnow tweeted about it as soon as he got home:

Whether by accident or on purpose, the outfit bares a certain resemblance to something that famed stuntman Evel Knievel would have worn, were he brought up in Caracas instead of the U.S. Oh, and wouldn't Venezuela President Hugo Chavez have loved that! Regardless, this must bump Luhnow several notches north on the Sexiest GMs list — somewhere in the teens now — just because of the association with Knievel, one of the great badasses of our time.

"And now, the Astros will attempt to clear the AL West in a rocket cycle! ... Oh, this doesn't look good ..."
