Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen has always been a humble sort, often saying in media interviews that he'll never forget where he came from. That pledge was evident on Monday afternoon after McCutchen tweeted a photo of himself standing in the Bartow, Fla., trailer park where he lived with his family when he was younger.

McCutchen has come a long way since sharing a room in that trailer with his younger sister, of course. The 26-year-old has become the cornerstone of the Pirates franchise, an MVP candidate and owner of a six-year, $51.5 million contract. Yet despite all that success he's not too embarrassed to show where he came from, providing a great example to his fans that 1) hard work and believing in yourself pays off and 2) you're never too big or too busy to step back and give thanks for what you have.
