Albert Pujols: Gone but not forgotten in St. Louis

The St. Louis Cardinals just held their first opening day in 12 years without Albert Pujols and the team seems to be doing just fine. The Redbirds lead the NL Central with a 7-3 record, rank first in all of baseball in several major offensive categories and are the owners of some shiny new rings featuring a cleverly placed squirrel. So far, so good, especially since Pujols and his Los Angeles Angels are off to a 3-6 start with the star hitting .243 so far.

The only problem for St. Louisans, then, is figuring out what to do with all the Pujols No. 5 jerseys they purchased over the last decade. Altering them to make a statement has become somewhat of a club sport at Busch Stadium and luckily our good friends over at Joe Sports Fan were on the prowl all weekend to find some of the best tailor jobs. That's my personal favorite above, but make sure to check out their top 10 Pujols jersey modifications.

Any Brewers fans spot anything similar being done to Prince Fielder's jersey at Miller Park?
