VIDEO: Tim Bozon drops puck prior to Ice-Hitmen game in emotional ceremony

Now out of the hospital, Tim Bozon was the subject of a goosebumps-inducing moment Saturday night, as he came out to drop the ceremonial puck prior to Game 6 of his Kootenay Ice teammates' first round series.

Bozon was admitted to a Saskatoon hospital back on March 3. It turned out he had contracted a rare form of bacterial meningitis and was placed in a medically-induced coma until his release from hospital on Friday.

Saturday, Bozon, whose season is over as he will be returning to Switzerland, returned to Cranbrook, B.C., to say goodbye to his teammates, who closed out their first round series against Calgary with a wild 5-3 win, winning 4-2 and advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

Before the game though, a capacity-crowd gave Bozon a standing ovation. He hadn't played in the Western Financial Centre since Feb. 21, before the Ice went out on a lengthy road trip during which the Montreal Canadiens third-rounder fell ill. Bozon played 50 games with Kootenay after being dealt from Kamloops back in October.

The standing ovation from the fans is one thing, but check out the Hitmen players coming off the bench after the puck drop to shake Bozon's hand. Gregg Drinnan at Taking Note has compiled a few pictures of the night taken from various Twitter accounts, and numerous WHLers such as Brendan Leipsic, Leon Draisaitl and Lukas Sutter have expressed their support for Bozon and his upcoming rehabilitation over the social networking service.

Not to be outdone, three of the Ice's five goals came off the stick of the WHL's leading playoff scorer Jaedon Descheneau:
