Mississauga Steelheads' Alexander Nylander scores highlight goal in OHL (VIDEO)

Alexander Nylander scored a pretty slät goal on Thursday. No one actually says that, but they might start if the the Mississauga Steelheads' 17-year-oid continues affirming why he bears watching just as much as his 19-year-old brother, Toronto Maple Leafs top prospect William Nylander.

Playing in his third game in the league, the younger Nylander made the Petes' Cameron Lizotte look like a NHL 16 character who had frozen in place as he danced in and scored on goalie Dylan Wells. And Lizotte is a good defenceman that the Leafs had in rookie camp last month.

For those who also rely on Google Translate to look half-worldly, slät is the Swedish word for smooth.

Mississauga has been far from a must-see team since it hosted the Memorial Cup five seasons ago when it was still called the Majors. However, with Nylander in the fold, and the Leafs looking like a mortal lock to be in the NHL draft lottery again, casual and serious OHL fans alike might want to make a note of when the Steelheads are passing through their nearest puck precinct. Nylander, who wears the No. 92 his former-NHLer father Michael Nylander (who is on Missy's couaching staff) is playing with two other well-touted 17-year-olds, centre Mike McLeod and defenceman Sean Day.

So far, Alexander Nylander has six points in his first three OHL games. That is a decent start.
