No. 1 Star: Charlie Graham, Belleville Bulls (OHL)

Outshot 52-22, the Bulls didn’t deserve a win over the Oshawa Generals. But Graham turned the game upside down with an incredible 51-save performance.

The 19-year-old goaltender opened up the match by only allowing one of 18 shots by him in the first period to keep it knotted at one. Following turning aside 11 pucks in the second, he went on to stand on his head in the final 20 minutes of play. He stopped over a puck a minute with 23 saves while his club managed to light the lamp three times to take the game 4-1.

This is the second time on the year that the Toronto, Ont., native has posted 50 or more saves, but it's the first time he can relish a victory after his effort. The Bulls lost 2-1 to the Guelph Storm in November despite having their netminder post 50 saves in front of them.

Graham’s outstanding effort shows the Bulls shouldn't be counted out as a team that could pull off an upset in the post-season. The victory puts Belleville ahead of the Kingston Frontenacs for sixth spot in the OHL’s Eastern Conference.

No. 2 Star: Taylor Raddysh, Erie Otters (OHL)

Move aside Connor McDavid, Raddysh stole Erie’s spotlight for the night. The freshman winger netted a natural hat trick in the first period to lead the Otters to a 6-1 win against the Owen Sound Attack.

The Caledon, Ont., native put away the first marker of the contest just 3:05 into it when Dylan Strome (1G-2A, +1) hit him with a nice pass on a three-on-two offensive rush. He scored his second of the night just under four minutes later before completing his first OHL hat trick late in the frame when on a two-on-one rush with Mason Marchment (2A, +2).

It was a bounce-back win for the Otters as they lost 5-4 to the Attack the night before. They now sit eight-points back of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for top spot in the OHL’s Western Conference with a 41-14-2-2 record.

No. 3 Star: Ivan Barbashev, Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL)

The St. Louis Blues second-round pick (3G-1A +2) was front and centre every time the Wildcats found the back of the net in a 4-1 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders.

Barbashev scored the first goal of the game with the opening frame winding down at the 19:27 mark. After helping set up a Dominic Talbot-Tassi marker and notching one of his own on the power play in the second period, he completed his hat trick just over two minutes into the final frame to give Moncton a commanding four-goal lead.

Honourable mention: Mitchell Marner, London Knights (OHL)

The highly regarded 2015 NHL draft prospect (2G-4A, +1) led the charge for the Knights in a 12-3 shellacking over the Saginaw Spirit.

Marner did the vast majority of his scoring in the opening frame. He potted both of his markers and added two helpers, all but one goal came on the man advantage. He helped set up goals from Jack Hidi (2G-1A, +1) and Matt Rupert (2G-3A, +2) in the second period to give him five power-play points.

Aaron Berisha (2G-1A, +2), John Warren (2G, +1), Rupert and Hidi joined Marner with multiple-goal nights.

Honourable mention: Curtis Miske, Spokane Chiefs (WHL)

Miske came into Spokane’s matchup against the injury-riddled Tri-City Americans with two career WHL goals and came out of it with five. He netted a hat trick, with a single goal in each period, in the 8-1 affair.

The Yamamoto brothers, Kailer and Keanu, padded their stats with three assists apiece.

Potent notables: Samuel Harvey posted a 25-save shutout as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies topped the Shawinigan Cataractes 3-0… Chicoutimi Sagueneens captain Laurent Dauphin (2G-1A, +3) led his squad to a 4-3 victory against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles… Niagara IceDogs winger Graham Knott scored a pair of goals in a 5-2 win over the North Bay Battalion… Hunter Garlent (2G, +2) and Matthew Mancina (35 saves) led the Peterborough Petes to a 4-1 victory against the Kingston Frontenacs… Barrie Colts wing Kevin Leblanc notched three helpers as his club defeated the Mississauga Steelheads 5-2… Carolina Hurricanes pick Alex Nedeljkovic stole a 3-1 win for the Plymouth Whalers by turning aside 37 shots from the Ottawa 67’s… Prince George Cougars centre Jansen Harkins racked up three assists in a 5-1 win over the Everett Silvertips… Columbus Blue Jackets pick Oliver Bjorkstand (3G-1A, +3) continued his scoring tear in the Portland Winterhawks’ 5-2 win against the Seattle Thunderbirds… Vancouver Canucks first-rounder Jake Virtanen (1G-1A) led the Calgary Hitmen to a 2-1 victory over the Kelowna Rockets… Dryden Hunt (2G-1A) helped the Medicine Hat Tigers defeat the Swift Current Broncos 5-1… Adam Brooks (3G-1A, +2) had a big night for the Regina Pats, but didn't have the satisfaction of a win afterwards as his club lost 6-5 to the rival Moose Jaw Warriors.
