Shelby McEwen's ridiculous free throw line dunk wins Jordan Brand contest

Michael Jordan made the free throw line dunk famous at the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, and a quarter-century later Shelby McEwen just perfected it at Jordan's high school hoops showcase.

The little known Oxford (Miss.) High Class of 2015 recruit won this past weekend's Jordan Brand "First to Fly" Jumpman XX9 dunk contest in Las Vegas with this left-handed leap from a step behind the charity stripe, according to Slam Online and a slew of other prep dunk enthusiasts across the interwebs.

As the person screaming behind the camera said, "Oh! Ohhhhh!! OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Of course, McEwen's post-dunk celebration dance was equally as spectacular.

McEwen's 41-inch vertical leap for one of the Jordan Brand "Rise Above" athlete testing experiences reportedly earned him an invite to the dunk contest. He led an Oxford team that reached the playoffs in points and rebounds as a junior. And he's now giving new meaning to the phrase "rising senior."
