Manute Bol's son Bol Bol is a freshman with a must-see basketball mixtape

It's not easy living in the late Manute Bol's shadow. The 7-foot-7 Sudanese former 76ers center was a legend on the basketball court, for sure, but he also emerged as one of the world's most generous philanthropists, starred in one of the great Saturday Night Live skitsapparently killed a lion with a spear and served as the subject of an amazing hip-hop track that featured the following lyrics.

I saw three girls walking down the mall.
They stared at him. He stared back.
They were Lakers cheerleaders, that's a fact.
He said, "Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am,
If you've got the jelly, I've got the jam."

Now, one of Manute's 10 children seems prepared to carry the torch, and sure enough both his name and basketball game scream stardom. Bol Bol is considered one of the top recruits in the Class of 2018 by at least one scouting service, and his latest basketball mixtape out of Kansas City, Mo., is one to behold.

The video shows a frame as thin as his father's, a jump shot rivaling Manute's in his legendary six 3-pointer game against the Suns, a shot-blocking prowess warranting a songwriting sequel to "Block that Bol" and a surprising handle on the end of those lanky arms. Not to mention some pretty sweet shoes.

Sure, Bol2 seems barely capable of dunking a basketball despite being measured at 6-foot-5 two years ago, all these highlights appear to come opposite children and his older brother Madut Bol failed to make a name for himself at Southern University, but we can still dream of a worthy Bol successor. Can't we?
