Incredible last-second goal propels Texas H.S. soccer team

Everything's bigger in Texas – even last-second, game-winning soccer goals. Just look at what happened on Tuesday night, when a forward on the Rider (Wichita Falls, Texas) High School team got the ball with mere seconds left in the game.

That noise sounding as the ball swoops against the back of the net is the rare soccer buzzer. Usually soccer games end with a referee blowing the whistle at the end of stoppage time. No one in the stands really knows how much time is left on the clock, as the ref is just watching it tick away on a his or her watch.

Texas makes it seem bigger and better, though, by ending every game with a buzzer at the end of regulation.

Josh Peloquin's amazing shot gave Rider the 3-2 win over Denton High School. Denton came into the game ranked No. 1 in the district.
