Week 10 Injury Wrap: Waiting for Sammy Watkins

It's a reasonably light injury report, in part because six teams are taking a holiday. Get your clipboards and co-pays ready, let's take a look around.

-- Sammy Watkins (groin) was initially hurt at Wednesday's practice and didn't work the final two days of the week. He's a game-time decision. Robert Woods could get a bump in activity if Watkins is forced to sit.

-- Vincent Jackson (knee) had a full practice Friday, suggesting he'll play against Atlanta. He's listed as questionable.

-- Martellus Bennett (ribs) says he will probably play at Green Bay, and that has to make us a little nervous since it's the Sunday night game. Bennett's official status is questionable.

-- Time to rock in roll with Calvin Johnson (ankle), off the bye week and listed as probable.

-- Owen Daniels (knee) is listed as probable, a nice buffer for Joe Flacco.

-- Cecil Shorts (hamstring) was back at it Friday and is listed as probable for the London Calling match against Dallas.

-- The Bengals are concerned Tyler Eifert (elbow) could miss the remainder of the season.

-- Harry Douglas (foot) should be able to go, if you're stuck for a Hail Mary receiver. We know Tampa Bay's secondary is atrocious.

Running Backs

-- Fred Jackson (groin) did some work this week and is listed as questionable, but context clues point to him sitting another week. The Bills and Chiefs play an early game, so we'll know far in advance of the window closing.

-- Lamar Miller (shoulder) had three days of limited practice and is questionable for the game at Detroit. With the nasty Lions defense on the other side, you might have legitimate alternatives worth using, even in a heavy week of byes. Daniel Thomas and Damien Williams are Miami's other primary backs.

-- Marshawn Lynch (calf) had a full Friday practice and should be fine for the home game against the Giants.

-- Khiry Robinson (forearm) and Pierre Thomas (shoulder) aren't ready to return for the Saints, so they'll load up Mark Ingram again. Ingram is battling a sore shoulder but should be able to go. Travaris Cadet is around as the pass-catching back.

-- Montee Ball (groin) had a limited week of practice and is no sure thing to return Week 10. Even Ball concedes that he should eventually return in a secondary role, with Ronnie Hillman keeping the starting gig.

-- Doug Martin (ankle) is listed as doubtful, not that you were counting on him. Look for Bobby Rainey to start against Atlanta, with Charles Sims likely to get some work as well.

-- Reggie Bush (ankle) had a good week of work and is listed as probable. He'll go against Miami.

-- Rashad Jennings (knee) probably needs more rest, which means we'll see the Andre Williams and Peyton Hillis show at Seattle.

Quarterbacks

-- Tony Romo (back) had a full workout Friday and sounds like he'll go against the Jaguars. This looks like a game the Cowboys can control with a balanced offense, so Romo's theoretical upside might be lower than usual.

-- Josh McCown takes over for Mike Glennon, because Lovie Smith wants to make our fantasy lives as miserable as possible. If you want to commiserate, please congregate here (hat tip, Salvatore Stefanile).

-- Nick Foles (clavicle) is looking at a 6-to-8 week timetable. I'm looking forward to the Mark Sanchez Experiment, because I'd follow Chip Kelly into a burning building.
