Monday Night Fliers: Inman, DHB pair of DEEP wide receiver plays

Fantasy owners looking to cash big in Yahoo DFS are always in the market for connector players, low-dollar options that provide roster flexibility and fatten wallets. Every Monday we'll bargain hunt in an attempt to unearth buried treasure. Today's featured buys come from PIT/SD, a matchup with various fantasy interests.

Dontrelle Inman, SD, WR ($10 in Yahoo DFS) – Remember this guy? Down the homestretch last year, Inman was an unsung hero in deep PPR-focused leagues. Against San Francisco and Kansas City, he hauled in 12 receptions for 158 yards on 16 targets. At 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, the Virginia product is a long, lanky receiver who Philip Rivers is comfortable with. The Steelers secondary, which has yielded five double-digit fantasy points WRs, is nothing to write home about. Weighing the matchup and given Stevie Johnson and Malcom Floyd's possible absence, the unheralded target could post sneaky good numbers.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, Pit, WR ($11) – I know what you're thinking. Heyward-Bey, notoriously known as a less-than sure-handed receiver, would find it difficult to catch a lighlty tossed beach-ball. After all, he's dropped numerous passes in his unspectacular NFL career. But with the Steelers down Martavis Bryant and Todd Haley expected to open up the playbook after a very conservative game plan last Thursday against the Ravens, DHB is worth the wheel spin. When on the field this season, the journeyman has performed laudably. Targeted 19 times he's caught 15 balls (78.9 catch%) for 185 yards and two scores. Even if Jason Verrett and Brandon Flowers suit up, they still aren't operating at 100 percent. DHB and Mike Vick could connect on roughly 60 yards and a score, especially with the Chargers keying on Antonio Brown.
