Dez Bryant delivers again (and again), torching the Saints

Just two weeks ago, we were all concerned that Dez Bryant's season might end before the fantasy playoffs began. He was meeting with hand specialists, contemplating surgery on his fractured left index finger.

Today, however, Dez is looking like the MVP of the fantasy postseason. He embarrassed the Saints defense on Sunday afternoon, hauling in nine balls for 224 yards on 12 targets, finding the end zone twice. Both of his scores were 58-yarders, with corner Patrick Robinson getting roasted each time. Here's the first TD, a bomb into single-coverage; here's the second, a yards-after-catch clinic (pictured above).

As of this writing, Dez leads all fantasy scorers in Week 16, with 34.4 points. Here's where he's finished each week at his position during his seven-game touchdown touchdown streak:

Week 10 - ninth
Week 11 - sixth
Week 12 - first
Week 13 - third
Week 14 - 26th
Week 15 - 15th
Week 16 - first

That's three top-three finishes in a five-week stretch, and five top-10s in his last seven games. Bryant's impressive late run has put him in contention to be the second receiver taken in 2013 drafts, after Megatron. Clearly there's a case for AJ Green, too, as well as Julio Jones, Demaryius Thomas, and maybe Brandon Marshall. But you can't have the discussion without Dez.

If you started No. 88 in Championship Week, then you're probably looking good right now. Take a victory lap in comments, champ, then tell us where you're targeting Dez next season...
