The Canadian Women's Soccer team is revving up for Rio.

And they're doing it with what has been a big motivational tool for them in the past; The power of music.

As the team gets set to avenge any lingering bitter feelings from the 2012 Olympics, where a controversial semifinal loss to the United States kept them from the gold medal game and relegated them to bronze level on the podium, they are channeling their inner James Corden for some fun, motivational shenanigans.

Corden, in case you didn't know, is the host of the Late, Late Show on American network CBS. Over the last year or so, he has built the idea of giving famous people a ride in his car and then forcing them to sing along to the hits of the day into a YouTube views machine, racking up millions and millions of plays as he sings along with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Chris Martin and even U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama (that one alone has gotten over 35 million views in a week and a half).

Here are members of the Canadian women's soccer team, piling into a rather large vehicle and singing their hearts out as they make their way to a training session, chauffeured by their former goalkeeper (and Yahoo Canada's Olympics expert for the Rio Games) Karina LeBlanc:

For those of you who were certain that Christine Sinclair, the Captain Canada of women's soccer, was all about steely gazes that burn holes in opponents who dare get in her way, this will give you another perspective on the intense footy star as she finds the softer side while belting out Celine Dion's "Power of Love" (which, apparently, remains a staple of the team's motivational tool kit. They'd been using it as an official cool-down song after games). The girls take a run at a few other songs as well including "I Will Always Love You," "Single Ladies," and even the national anthem.

At the London Olympics, it seemed that lip synching to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" was all the rage. After the Winter Olympics, the Canadian team assembled on Parliament Hill to show their fun side with Pharrell's mega-hit "Happy" as the soundtrack.

This time around, carpool karaoke might be the thing that many Olympians give as an answer when someone on their team says "what kind of fun video should we do?"

You have Corden to thank or blame for that, depending on your perspective.
