Stray dog enters Fisht Stadium before Olympic Opening Ceremony, because Sochi

Ha! This dog think it's people.

Much has been made of the packs of dogs roaming around the host city at Sochi 2014, with many in the media characterizing the canines as strays even though most had owners before residents were relocated due to Olympics construction. Somehow, one of humankind's best friends got into Fisht Stadium before the Opening Ceremony.

A dog getting in is another chance to crack jokes to cover up concerns about what other breaches could possibly happen during the Games.

The cull of ownerless dogs, it goes without saying, is disgusting. The International Olympic Committee, which works on the Rob Ford principle of deny, deny, deny, then gradually let a little of the truth slip, insists only unhealthy dogs were put down. Most dogs that appear in photos, don't look mangy or starved. At least there is some heartwarming aspects coming out of it, like the story of the man who drove more than 1,500 km from Moscow to rescue 11 dogs.
