Raptors fans rally around 'other' poll snub

Raptors fans are up in arms over a perceived slight on an internet poll ahead of the team's opening game in the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night.

CBS Sports ran a poll over the weekend listing four options under the question: "Who Will Win the NBA title?" Those four options were the Golden State Warriors, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Other. The Raptors are the only team not listed that remains in the playoffs.

CBS clarified the poll was posted before Toronto beat the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Sunday, but that hasn't stopped Raptors fans from using the snub as a rallying cry.

Using #WeTheOther on Twitter, a play on the team's #WeTheNorth campaign, fans voiced their displeasure and maintained their support for the Raptors. And so did Toronto mayor John Tory, who, apparently with no "real" municipal affairs to attend to this day, had time to craft/dictate a letter to the chairman of CBS Sports.

Wonder what the "other" mayors are doing on a Tuesday. . . .

UPDATE: CBS Sports updated their poll. So, Raptors fans (and the mayor), back to your regularly scheduled duties.
