Jalen Rose boasts about Toronto's transit system during ESPN broadcast

During his three seasons playing with the Toronto Raptors, Jalen Rose likely had some time to explore the city he called his temporary home. Apparently, Rose, now an analyst with ESPN, has fond memories of the city’s transit system.

During halftime of the ESPN broadcast of Game 4 between the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rose began talking about Toronto’s subway system.

“Downtown Toronto on Yonge Street, they have a rapid transit system,” Rose explains to the U.S. audience. “It’s underground, Sage, and it’s elevated for railroad lines. You can get picked up on Bloor or Scarborough or Eglinton. That’s what they’re doing.”

It’s unclear why Rose was prompted to talk about the TTC, though his enthusiasm for it suggests he doesn’t actually take the over-extended (and often delayed) line all that often.
