Eugenie Bouchard and Serena Williams combine for 70-shot ‘rally’ in Rogers Cup exhibition

It may have been the first time Monica Seles and Venus Williams have been relegated to spectator status on a tennis court.

During Monday evening's hit-and-giggles doubles match between the Williams sisters, Seles and Eugenie Bouchard, the exhibition's two elder stateswoman found themselves with some idle time as Serena and Bouchard engaged in an exclusive extended rally.

When the point ended, 70 shots had been exchanged by the two players with Venus contributing one forehand in the early stages of the marathon exchange.

"Some help please?," 19-year-old Bouchard quipped to the 39-year-old Seles at one point.

"No, no, no, you've got 20 years on me," said Seles, who led the laugh parade throughout the rally. She even showed a knack for physical comedy, mimicking the act of getting set for returns after it became apparent that Bouchard and Serena were locked into their own game.

Toward the end of the video, the crowd roars when Seles called for a ball from the sidelines and proceeded to trade volleys with Venus while Bouchard and Serena continued their game.

For who couldn't find a score, the Williams sisters took the match 8-5.
